Backpacker Accommodation

Our cozy Christchurch backpackers has three double rooms, three twin rooms and a three person share room. All beds are made up and have electric blankets. In keeping with our shared house style there are no large dormitories or ensuite rooms. The hostel is not suitable for children but Entwhistle Cottage is family friendly.

Due to our compact nature, it is best to make your booking in advance. A BBH card will help you save money as you travel in New Zealand and is available for purchase from Chester St. Backpackers. Credit card details are required for telephone reservations, but your payment can still be in cash on arrival.

Long Term House

For long term stays of one month or more we have rooms available in a four bedroom, fully furnished and self contained house - also on Chester St. Both double and twin share are available. Please email for long term rates.
